The client came to us with a request for a primary heating solution in the form of an accumulation soapstone stove. It is a smaller and now relatively well insulated building. They previously had a soapstone lined fireplace in the property, but this did not suit their needs of being heated once a day. The soapstone lined fireplace insert was only able to keep the property warm for about 6 hours. After that, the property cooled down. Therefore, they proceeded to install an all-mastic fireplace Pallas in a new range matching the Ip stove.
The akustone stove is used by the client as a primary source and he uses underfloor electric heating foils to heat the property when he cannot heat every day. However, they do not have a direct fired rate so only use this method very sporadically. The heated area of the property with the soapstone acoustic fireplace is over 40 m2.
