Drahomíra – Jupiter 2D

The assignment was clear. An older house, a large space and a stove against the wall. Or should we do it differently? Why not light up more of the space and take the opportunity to enjoy the view on both sides. There’s always a solution! By slightly adjusting the placement, we achieved a stove that heats more than double the space of the house and elegantly connects the kitchen to the living room.

Model selection, construction readiness and the implementation itself were then all a really lightning fast affair under our auspices.

I found out about soapstone stoves on the internet when I was looking for one for our house renovation. We wanted some kind of stove or fireplace that would stay warm after it went out ideally overnight until the next day whatever we woke up to. We also wanted less of a part to add on.

We are very happy with our choice now. We have been heating in the stove for over a year now and it really does keep us warm all day.
